Our customer is using our UCC256404A and found that below two diodes are randomly damaged on their board, can you help to check if we have any design guidance for these two diodes? If there any potential reasons for this problem?

1000V and 1A rated diodes needs to be considered for this HV charging diodes. And for RHV, three 1.65k ohm resistors are recommended.
Also you need to connect the diodes after the fuse in the AC line. That way they are protected against surge currents.

Customer has already used 1000V/1A rating diode after the fuse in here, but it still has failures, but for RHV resistors no damage. Can you help to give more suggestion for this circuit section?

What is the input voltage at the AC side. Are you doing any surge tests? Could you share the schematics and design calculator. Do you have any waveforms at HV charging current?
