Hello TI support,
I would like to know if the board can measure the current of high current bus. If yes, which pin can support this function and how to connect the circut?
Thanks in advance!

Xiaozhe,
You mean like a current shunt measurement? This device cannot do directly but you can look into bq79656 device that has two dedicated current sense pins for shunt measurement. Otherwise you can connect an INA current sensor device to interface with mcu separately.

Hi Xiaozhe,
See this faq for part comparison: https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1165815/faq-bq796xx-automotive-grade-battery-monitors-family
Yes with CS ADC integrated you can synchronize your voltage/current measurements better for more accurate SOC/SOH, but those estimations algorithms are still done on MCU host side as our device just provides data.

Xioazhe,
We do not have source code for this, there are some general resources for implementing an algorithm online but we can only provide information on how to collect the data. If you do not yet have our basic example code, you can go to this thread for requesting access:
