UCC28712: Output 5V1A and 20V3.25A

Part Number: UCC28712

Hi Experts,

Please help clarify/confirm if UCC28712 can output 5V1A and 20V3.25A.

Also, can it output 65W? Is a demo/simulation available to make sure UCC28712 work in 65W?

Thank you and best regards,

Gerald

  • I also tried this on Webench but it seems that 20V3.25A is not possible. Can you please confirm? Thank you.

  • Hi Gerald,

Supposedly UCC28712 should be able to output 65W, but this also depends on other components that you are using. If you go to the UCC2871x website, on the "Design & development"  tab > "Design tools & simulation" you can find simulation models and a calculator designed to help you design your solution. If you click on "reference designs" tab, it will lead you to reference designs that UCC28712 are used. The closest power level I can find is PMP9041 (24V/40W).

    Thanks,

    Claire
