Hi Sir,
The customer is using the TPS40210 as a boost circuit(V-in=5V, V-out=48V, I-out 400mA).
The MOSFET over heating is derived from the customer changed the MOSFET from AOS / AOD2544 to CYStek / MTB050N15BRJ3.
When the boost system working after 5 mins, it was found that the MOSFET was seriously hot, and the temperature rose over 100°C (Vin=5V, V-out=48V, 200mA load).
Could you help analyze what the problem is?
They would like to know this problem is derived from MOSFET parameters or they miss to check other components parameter?
