Hello,
My customer is designing and using the LM5066 as follows.
RTN_PEER and MUP_PEER are connected to one connector A as a pair, and RTN_M and MUP_M are connected as a pair to the other connector B.
When connector A is connected and FAN power (RTN_FAN, MUP_FAN) is supplied through the LM5066 and connector B is inserted and removed repeatedly, the power is cut off by the LM5066.
When they checked the input_status register (7Ch), they confirmed that under voltage and overcurrent occurred.
1. Please review whether there is a problem with the customer's circuit design or use case.
2. They found that the LM5066 did not power cut when Bit3 of the register below was set to '1'. Are there any expected problems if they continue to use this setup?

3. Is there any way to mitigate the occurrence of under voltage and overcurrent through LM5066 register settings?
4. Would you recommend adding a circuit that can mitigate the occurrence of under voltage and overcurrent in the circuit above?
5. Please review if there is any problem with the customer's LM5066 Design_Calculator file below.
Thank you.
JH
