Dear TI team

 

I have a question related to the content of the thread below.

We can set the preferred power role in question4 on the GUI, but I think that the connection between DRP devices may choose an undesirable role (provider/consumer).

Is this understanding correct?

(I don't know what will happen if the preferred power role of the connected devices is the same)

 

Also, the TPS25750D PDO configuration GUI is simplified and it seems that you can only set the 5V3A profile.

I want the TPS25750D to operate at 5V2A as a source device and 5V1A as a sink device. ("preferred power role" is "power sink")

Please let me know if there is a way to create a binary file (for EEPROM writing) of this PDO setting.

(Or is it possible for you to provide one?)
