UCD9248: UCD9248 occur POWER_GOOD# warning Xilinx VC709 Board

Dear Sir,

Based on the Xilinx's VC709 board, i have designed a mother board. Using three UCD9248 chip to controlling PTD08A020W and PTD08D210W power module, the total design voltage rails are 11, shown as in the pictures.

There are only 3 rails voltage output, other rails are not working. I checked the status by Fusion Design Tool of TI and found a warning occurred with POWER_GOOD#.

    Please check your voltage setup (PG on, PG off, Vout,...), as well as rails' dependencies.

    Thanks for your reply. 

    There are 11 rails voltage in design, only 3 rails voltage output normally. The 3 rails are 1.0V(52d: Rail #1, 53d: Rail #3, 54d: Rail: Rail #2). The following show the related of setup. And also upload the compressed configuration files of UCD9248 in the attachement, which are exported by Fusion Digital Power Designer Tool.

  • Hi Anne,

    I have tested the related voltage point of two board, one is my design board(originqc), another is xilinx VC709 board. The test voltage show as in below tables.

    The configuration files of my board is same with Xilinx VC709. Xilinx VC709 board connected to PC through TI Interface Adapter, and Save System File to local, then import the saved file to my board. The Xilinx VC709 board can power up normally, but my board only 3 rails run.

    Just to clarify, you are using the same configuration files on both the Xilinx board as well as your own board, correct?

    If this is the case, it might be a hardware issue. Could you share the schematic of your board?
