In the TPS6598x configuration tool, it has configuration settings for the USB to I2C/SPI Adapter. One of the options lists FTDI. I am looking at using the C232HM-DDHSL-0 USB to SPI cable to directly put SPI signals on to the PCB connector, to take the FTDI chip off-board. Is this cable compatible with the "FTDI" setting in the configuration tool?
I don't know how specific the configuration tool is about what kind of FTDI device is connected.
