Hi,

I have a question for LM5116 PCB layout, should I connect the DC-DC GND together at the top layer ? or cut the DC-DC controller GND connection from the input GND and output GND on the top layer?

We have a discussion team inside, someone suggest to cut to prevent big current noise interference the controller, someone said it should connect together.

The board is four layer, second layer is GND, They are connected each other in GND layer.

The layout picture is as the below:

Would you help to suggest the GND area I marked with BLUE RECTANGLE? should I connect the GND of the DC-DC controller with the input output GND at the top layer?
