BQ34Z100-G1: How to config for Lead acid battery

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1

Dear TI Team,

We are using BQ34Z100-G1 for mornitoring Lead acid battery，4 packs，each pack 12V，13Ah, CV charge voltage is 58.6V, float charge voltage is 55.2V

As for "Number of series cell" and "Cell Charge Voltage" how to config？"Cell Charge Voltage" has a limitation of 0~4600.

Here is my config:

Number of series cell: 13

Cell Charge Voltage：4246，so Charge voltage is 13*4246=55.2V

Is this configuration right or not, if not could you give us a recommended configurtaion?

12v pack has 6 cells inside, 4 packs means 24cells in series, so the Number of series shall be 24. Cell charge voltage should be 58.6/24, 2.44v.

Thanks for your reply. We have tried that setting, but the system is abnormal with that setting, SOC,Remaining Capacity,Full charge Capacity is always 0. With current setting 13 cells, 4246 cell charge voltage the SOC,Remaining Capacity,Full charge Capacity looks normal. Is this caused by mismatch chemID? We have selected chemID(0809), 17AH, which is different but close to our battery.

What is the total stack voltage? Can you upload the gg file, srec file and a log file with a period of time for further inspection?

We have config as you sugguested 24cells, cell charge voltage 2.44v. Then we started the learning cycle.

1, we discharge the battery to empty(42v @ 1.8A discharge)

2, IT_ENABLE, start log and start charge the battery to full

3,FC set, cut off charge, relax for 2 hours. VOK cleared, OCVTAKEN set, but learning status do not change to 05

attached file is the log file and gg file, Can you help us find out the reason why learning status do not change to 05?

The battery needs to be discharge deeper in the beginning of test so that deltaQmax at moment when VOK clear can be greater than 90%*16384
