Good morning,
I have received a few weeks ago an PDN Document with ID 20230531001.3.
In this document, my P/N TPS74201KTWR appears affected, with a "Pin to Pin alternative" P/N TPS74901RGWR.
However, I think this is a mistake, because P/N TPS74201KTWR has 7 terminals and a package type of DDPAK/ TO-263.
Meanwhile, P/N TPS74901RGWR has 20 terminals and has a package type of VQFN.
Do you have a closer alternative for P/N TPS74201KTWR? For example, P/N TPS74901KTWR?
Thank you in advance!
Hello Roberto,
That is a mistake on our side since parts are not P2P. However, if using TPS74201KTWR we do recommend moving to TPS74901RGWR. Most of our devices in TO-263 are legacy devices which are not recommended for new designs. There is not a P2P alternative that we recommend. Even though TPS74901KTWR is P2P we don't recommend it since it is in older technology and will also be EOL.
Best,
Eunize Tobias
