Dear TI team,

Dear Sir,

We have designed 16S Non Smart BMS based on IC BQ7695202. We are using TS1, TS2 & TS3 for temperature measurement by configuring pin as thermistor.

We are unable to understand in datasheet Tech user manual how should be taken care of Beta Value (β) of NTC Resistance to have accurate temperature measurement in this case.

Please suggest an algorithm for the same, where we put take care of Beta Value (β).

Dear Rahul,

If you are using one of the two thermistors recommended by TI for the BQ76952, the device comes preconifgured with the necessary coefficients under Calibration:180K/18K Temperature Model.

However, if you are using a different thermistor for your application, the device also supports a custom temperature model. TI provides a temperature coefficient calculator on its website for the BQ76952 here to calculate all the needed parameters.
