Hi There,
I have a customer designing with LMG3410R070 and have a question on the LMG3410R070 at higher voltages. Essentially we want to know if we can run this 600V rated part reliably at 500V. The data sheet states a recommended max voltage of 480V but we want to run up to 500V for some of the time (say 10% of the life of the product). We are switching at 170kHz and do not have any overshoot or ringing. Also we will be actively cooling the part to keep it below 100 degrees C.
Is it possible to run it at 500V? If not, what about LMG3422R050?
Regards,
Hi Robert,
Yes the device can handle 500V, this will decrease the products lifetime a little bit though.
