Hello, I am applying tps55288 to my PD application, I want to read the accurate charging current value through tps55288, may I ask how I can read the charging current value, thank you.

TPS55288 is used as PD charge test equipment in my project, the equipment need to detect charge current. the requirement accuracy is not accurate，20% is acceptable.

i wander to know if i can read charge current from TPS55288 via I2C.

Hi Jianxi,

TPS55288 has CDC pin which can output value of the output current value, the equation is as below. But the accuracy is not that good especially at light load, but at heavy load, it can achieve about 5%.
