  • Hello Gabriel,

I have begun review. Please expect feedback by end of day Monday at the latest.

    Best Regards,

    Garrett

  • Hi Gabriel,

It appears the schematic document you linked may not be correct as it does not include the BQ25890 IC. Please attach the correct schematic and then I can provide feedback.

    Best Regards,

    Garrett

  • Dear Garett

Sorry ,attached the correct schmetic .

  • Hi Gabriel,

Please see my feedback on schematic review below.

-OTG pin should not be left unconnected. It needs to be driven high or connected to GND. If you do not plan to use the OTG boost mode feature please connect OTG to GND.

-The majority of the required input capacitance is recommended to be connected to PMID pin rather than VBUS. I recommend you only have the 1 uF capacitor at VBUS then move the 10 uF capacitor currently connected to VBUS to PMID. You are free to keep the 47 nF cap at PMID or remove it once 10 uF cap is connected.

-For I2C communication please ensure SDA and SCL lines are connected to a logic rail via a pullup resistor such as 10 kohms.

-I cannot determine the purpose for the 100kohm resistor placed between VBUS and STAT. I recommend this resistor be removed. The recommended connection for STAT is just a resistor and LED as you already have in your schematic.

    Best Regards,

    Garrett
