Hi Team,
my customer is searching for 0.5V/0.6V fixed Vout LDO device. I see there is TPS7A1x series which can support the voltage.
since application is wearable which care much on Iq. Device like TPS7A05 is used before which has ~1uA Iq, but TPS7A1x has much larger Iq, so I have questions.
1. it seems there is Vbias for such low Vout, is it because low Vref bandgap need higher voltage to make internal circuit work?
2. Iq for Vbias and Vin are much larger compared with TPS7A05, what's the reason for this?
Thanks.

Hey Given,
1. Typically with a low VOUT, a low VIN is being used. This device supports very low input voltages with the use of an additional VBIAS rail that is used to power the internal circuitry of the LDO.
2. Iq is the minimum amount of current the LDO's internal circuitry will consume to maintain regulation. These devices have different internal circuitry.
I can forward this to a marketing engineer if you would like a second opinion on device selection for your application.
Best,
Juliette
Hi Juliette,
thanks for your reply. I'm not sure if there is other device can be recommended. Thanks.
