BQ28Z610EVM-532: TI Gauge is always showing 100% SoC. What is wrong here?

Part Number: BQ28Z610EVM-532

Current readings are showing positive for discharge and negative for charge. I hope this is the right polarity.

Voltage and current readings appear to be accurate. But SoC won't change. I have performed the learning cycle already.

Here is the gas gauging file: 2SLearningDone.gg.csv

I have also performed current sensing calibration from this previous thread I created for the same issue: e2e.ti.com/.../4712379

  • Hello,

Did you apply a -1000mA load for calibration? This is what is recommended.

You can try to upload default calibration values to see if the current error goes away. If not, the sense resistor might have been damaged. Did you accidentally shorted the PACK+ and PACK- terminals?
