TPS65400: PSPice Simulation Model for margin test

Part Number: TPS65400

Hi,

I want to test TPS65400 in my design, so i need to use simulation model of PSpice.

I will do the simulation about gain/phase margin in AC Analysis.

There is no matching model on 'PSpice for TI', so I downloaded from your site.

But I couldn't check the completion message of my simulation data.

Maybe,, I think I didn't add a model library accurately.

So, I have two queries about,

1) Do you have a available PSpice Simulation model of TPS65400?

As I check on your website, you usually give a guide that use a EVM Board for margin simulation.

And in a webench, as i know, there is a result about 500kHz switching frequency only.

2) May i receive the guide or  manual about How to Add the library on tool accurately.

Thank you.

  • Hi,

If you want to use "PSpice for TI" to run the TPS65400 PSpice Transient Model, please make the following modifications.
"PSpice for TI" currently cannot run the TPS65400 PSpice Average Model for AC Analysis, while you can use Cadence PSpice to run it. We are trying to modify it, but there is no result yet. Once it can work, we will give you feedback in time.

    To run the TPS65400_PSpice_TRAN.pptx

    Best regards,

    Zhou

  • Thanks for your answer.  Your Guide was clearly helpful for me.

As you replied, I can simulate a TPS65400 in AC Analysis environment on Cadence PSpice, Not on PSpice for TI.

But in Cadence ver., I think i can't customize the circuit value of AVERAGE MODEL.

I can just simulate as your Reference circuit, right?

Then, please give me a feedback if your works are completed about Average model of TPS65400 in PSpice for TI.

  • Hi,

Yes, if you want to use "PSpice for TI" to run the TPS65400 PSpice Transient Model.

Feedback to you later, about Average model of TPS65400 in PSpice for TI.

    Best regards,
