Hi TI-Team
The datasheet does not mention the power consumption of the VDD section of the chip when in operational mode.
Is it possible to power an ISO7741 (approx 5mA) using the TPS274C65 3.3V regulator?
Many thanks and best regards,
-Urs
Hi Urs,
The internal regulator can source up to 20mA.
Since the ISO7741 is consuming less than that, the TPS274C65 VDD pin can be used to power the isolator.
Best Regards,
Elizabeth
Thank you!
Please update the datasheet with VDD current consumption in active mode.
Thanks and best regards,
-Urs
Hi Urs,
We will work to make this more clear on the datasheet.
In the meantime, you can refer to our test conditions in the electrical characteristics section of the datasheet to see we test up Ivdd<20mA.
Best Regards,
Elizabeth
