Hi,
We would like to use the UCC21710-Q1 with Desat Circuit as explained in the datasheet (Figure 9-8).
In this circuit the resistor R1 is connected to VDD (+15V in our case). This has the negative effect of having DC link voltage if there is no switching (charged over the high voltage diodes (DHV)).
Therefore we would linke to have the resistor R1 connected to OUTH.
- Do you have an application that shows this solution?
- We see a possible problem when OUTL is at VEE (-4V) level (SiC FET is off), having OUTH at approximately -4V as well, charging the capacitor at OC pin to a negative voltage. Is this a problem?
