Hi,

I designed a custom pcb for testing POE power, I couldn't get power from output. I get 50V for 1 second then power goes down. Also, TPL indication led is blinking. I attached oscilloscope pictures and schematics. Can you help me figure out my problem?

I jhave just added 10k resistor to output and Miraculously, the circuit start to work. Also TPL indication led is continuously on now.

Hi Omer,

Thanks for reaching out.

This may be caused by maintain power signature: PSE will turn off the PD port if the PD consume too less power.

May I know if you have J6 shorted? And if RV1 resistance is 0.5kOhm or less? If you did both, you may have the board continuously work even without the 10k dummy load.

Hi Diang,

RV1 is 2k resistor I used the EVB as a reference. I will make j6 and rv1 short and try again when no dummy load.
