I'll let David comment on TUSB1046A. On the PD side (TPS65987) we do support TBT3 (TPS65987DDJ) and TBT4 (TPS65987DDK), for TBT designs you will need to refer to the specific Intel Reference Design. USB3.2 and USB4 are also supported with these PD controllers and configurable through the Application Customization Tool (request through product page).

Assuming there's a TPS65987DDx in your system you can use the Application Customization Tool to configure the PD to communicate with TUSB1046 (or any other peripheral devices) via specific GPIO or I2C events. Hi Yamamotoju-san

TUSB1046A can only USB3.2 Gen 2 x 1 which is 10G only. It can't support USB3.2 Gen 2 x 2 or USB Gen 4.
