Hello, I have a question about the current limit in my 1kW power SMPS circuit that I designed with the UCC3895n integrated circuit. I am giving the output voltage to the FB pin via the optocoupler with TL431, but how do I determine how many amperes to limit the current to?

Hello,

In general when designing a power supply most designers will limit the output power to 20 % of the maximum output power. They will also select the components used in the design so they can handler 125 to 150% of the typical peak current, RMS currents and voltages.
