First, I confirmed the battery chemical ID, 12 battery chemical ID 448 or 445;

Step 2, the coulometer chip re-burn the original firmware 0100_2_02-bq34z100.bqz,

Step 3: Update the register parameters of the coulometer, select the chemical ID, and then calibrate the voltage and current temperature;

After the second charge, what conditions need to be met to discharge it? I have fully charged the battery, FC=1, should I wait until VOK becomes 0 before discharge?

Hello, the first round of battery discharge is finished, Update Status=06, then I start the second round of charge and discharge, the end of the second round of charge is FC=1,VOK=0, and then discharge the battery, RA is updated during the discharge process, after the discharge, the battery is left for one night, the Update Status does not jump to 0E, but VOK=0. 

The first question is, is the maximum BQZ100-R2 Update Status only 6? I saw it in BQ34Z100-R2 Technical Reference Manual (Rev.A), screenshot below,

Second question, I saw in the forum that 0E means that the battery balance is turned on, the difference between 06 and 0E is only to update one side Qmax.

Hello, when producing the documents according to the instructions, firstly import the srec file after voltage, current and temperature calibration, and then import the parameters of the GG file after learning, I found that the parameters could not be written in this step.

Follow the steps below：

(1) Export the learned GG file. Open GG file with Notepad and change Cycle Count = 0, Qmax Cycle Count = 0, Update Status = 02, and so on.

(2) Import the SREC/SENC file backed up in the previous preparation. Then import the GG file you just modified. Reset a record such as Lifetime.

(3) the export volume file SREC/SENC/BQFS/OTFS/GMFS/DFFS files.

So, I have taken a closer look at things, and I noticed that there appears to be some offset in your current readings, which would explain your error.

In the screenshots you shared were you discharging?

Is the sense resistor you are using within design specifications?
