Good morning,
it seems the max red temperature by using an external NTC (compliant to the datasheet requirement) is limited around 120°C.
The BQ34Z100 operating range is limited to 85°C, but I think such a value is related to the component temperature and not to the external sensed temperature.
So what is the maximum readable temperature on the external NTC?
