Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EV2400, , BQ25756E, BQSTUDIO
Hi,
We are trying to evaluate BQ25756EEVM and EV2400. Specifically, I would like to set the charging output of BQ25756E to a low power such as 8.2V, 2A.
Operation has been verified according to the steps in the EVM user guide.
① Connect the stabilized power supply to input J1 of the evaluation board.
② Connect the electronic load to output J3 of the evaluation board.
③ Set the electronic load. Set to constant voltage mode V and current to 6A.
④ Connect J5 of the evaluation board and Port2 of EV2400.
⑤ Turn on the electronic load and input 30V and 6A from the stabilized power supply.
⑥ Set the electronic load CV to 23.5V.
⑦ Start Battery Management Studio (bqStudio) Software on your PC. Select Charger, BQ25756E.
⑧ Select D4(6A) for I2C and click Read resister.
I followed the steps above, but a Device ACK Error occurred in bqStudio. Also, both D4 and D5 of EVM will light up. I would like to know if there is a way to solve these problems or to set it to a lower power such as 8.2V, 2A.
Thanks,
Conor
