Hi Representative.

Is it possible to make the BQ24800 work standalone like the BQ24161?
Does the BQ24800 have a charge timer function?
I want to use the BQ24800 to charge 18650 batteries

    No, you will need microcontroller or similar device to communicate with the BQ24800 to set charge current/voltage through SMBus.

    The BQ24800 has a watchdog timer to suspend charging, if the charger does not receive a write ChargeVoltage() or write ChargeCurrent() command within
    175 s (adjustable through 0x12[14:13] command).
