TPS61199PWP LED driver

Hi TIs,

 I  have design-in  with TPS61199PWP model, .

So , i have some question need TIs help yo clarify

1. How do I know that when I change the PWM, the current will change according to the PWM duty. If I change the PWM to the next level, how long will it take? Is it 1μsec?

2. If I continuously change the PWM duty, will it be affected? have time or specification define to this?
3. If the current required by the load is 280mA (IFB 1 to IFB 6), and my ISET setting is 40.5mA, is this value too small?

My environment:

VIN input voltage : 12V

Vout voltage : LCD Panel ( VDD = 19V to 26V , ILED=280mA )

Thank you

Rai.

  • Hi Rai,

    1. You can measure the LED current when the PWM duty is changed. For the response time, it will be related to internal silicon, let me check with EVM and give you a reference.

    2. It will be related to internal oscillator, usually it has no problem.

    3. If only 6 channels used, you need to set the current per channel as ~46.7mA instead.
