BQ34Z100-R2: LTO ChemID selection

Part Number: BQ34Z100-R2

Hello Sir:

We update this attached file to GPC tool.

But which report out has no useful ChemID.

Would you please double confirm which is correct or not?

Looking forward your feedback.

Thanks a lot.

  • Hey Statham,

I reviewed that file. Can you send me the datasheet for your battery. Two things that I noticed, one I don't believe that there was a CV charge implemented. Second, the discharge current doesn't seem to be constant current. These two concerns are probably why a valid chemID was not returned from the tool.

  • Hey Statham,

Thank you for providing this information. Yes, I believe it is best if they reattempt the learning cycle process. They also discharge the battery at a high rate than the guide specified.
When they rerun the test, make sure they implement a CV charge. Also, they need to discharge the battery at 2000 mA (C/10).
