LP38512-ADJ: Looking for PSPICE simulation model

Part Number: LP38512-ADJ
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7A52, TPS74801

Hello,

I cannot find the LP38512-ADJ model in PSPICE for TI (just installed the latest version), also the web page doesn't list any option to get a simulation model.

LP38512-ADJ data sheet, product information and support | TI.com

Webench shows a schematic but then says simulation is not enabled for this design.

Is there any way to simulate it?

Regards and thanks

Paul

  • Hi Paul,

This is a legacy device and we do not have a PSPICE model for it. Can I steer you towards a newer device that has simulation support? If you're interested, TPS74801 is a more cost-effective device with better specs, and TPS7A52 is a less cost-effective device with even better specs.

    Regards,

    Nick

  • Thank you for the suggestion. I am looking for a part that is easier (for me) to hand solder. The VSON package might be ok but a SOT-223 / SO-8 or similar would be far more practical.

  • Hi Paul,

What are your design specs? I can try finding one that is more convenient to hand solder.

    Regards,

    Nick
