Part Number: BQ34Z100-R2

I would like to ask what resistor value can change for red circle as I am not sure what voltage point range and current flow is acceptable? What voltage should be for the red circle assume the BAT+ is 20 V, is it (165k/(165k+100k))*20V=12.45V. Same question for black circle also.

Hi,

The Maximum voltage on the BAT pin is 5.5V

I believe 8.2.2 may be helpful to you - BQ34Z100-R2 Wide Range Fuel Gauge with Impedance Track Technology datasheet (ti.com)

Hi,

1) no, 900mv is the lower limit to your battery voltage.

2) No, because your design uses 4 cells in series.

3) Yes, this is correct

3. lowest voltage for 4 cell battery(Total Pack Voltage for my design)

For example: 2.7V *4 = 10.8V

Assume Max 4 cell battery is 16.8V.

But this does not make sense as Max of VBAT pin is only 5.5V. Please help to review, thanks.
