BQ34Z100EVM: BQstudio does not recognize the battery.

You Pin configuration appears correct, when you move the J2 jumper to 16V (or 48V) is the voltage at BAT still 0?

Voltage() does not change in bqstudio even if J2 jumper setting is changed.

The voltage at BAT pin was also 0mV.

I have additional questions.

1) Do I need to hold down SW1 in EVM for bqstudio to recognize Voltage()?

BAT+=24000 mV, J2=32 V

It is found that about 0.6 V was applied to the BAT pin by pressing SW1.

Voltage() on bqstudio is about 550 mV (close value).

2) Does the software need to configure the device to know the exact Voltage?

I suspect it's Voltscale() related.

Hi,

1) No, pressing the SW1 is not needed, SW1 is used to enable the LEDs

2) Voltscale is to scale the input voltage in the firmware and a voltage divider on the hardware.

When you open Bqstuido what voltage does it read?

Have you done any calibration?

The VBAT pin is about 600 mV, isn't it?

1) The voltage value of Vscale Lo was measured by pinching TP2.

When the switch is pressed,

TP2=0.6 V

TP1=24V

can be measured.

Don't you really need to press the switch? If you don't need to press it, is this EVM broken?

2) It was 0V.

Your calculations appear correct.

SW1 does not need to be pressed.

Try to calibrate the voltage using BQstudio.

Flash Update OK Cell Volt is rewritten to 0mmV.

The capacity is shown as 0.6 V, but VBAT=24 V, while pushing the LED button.
