Part Number: LM27761
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2776

The datasheet says I can sim LM27761

The tool says part unsupported. Looking for +5 to -5 - Patrick

  • I cam up with a 316K over 100K to get my -5V. (just used -1.22V and worked backwards.

I have the EVM and will test when resistors arrive. - Patrick

  • Hi Patrick,

FYI - The absolute value of the output voltage will be slightly lesser than the input because of the charge pump output impedance plus LDO dropout voltage. Please refer to Figure 19 and 12 in LM27761 datasheet.

If you want to just invert the input, you can choose the LM2776. It doesn't have the integrated LDO. So you wouldn't have the dropout across the LDO. Only the charge pump output impedance needs to be considered.
