Hello,
we are using the LM5122 in standard booster application.
The datasheet states a maximum VCC operating current of 8mA.
The values shall be valid if external VCC bias supply is used. So we are feeding 11V from external regulator via diode as shown in figure 17 of datasheet. We are measuring 11-12mA.
Q1: What could be the reason for this deviation?
Q2: Did the datasheet value also include the current portion required to drive the external MOSFETs?
