We've seen cases in which the current and temperature values read back from the bq27541 that don't track the actual values measured by other methods. The PCAs were programmed with cal constants derived from calibrating 20-30 devices.
How can the bq27541 be calibrated without using the EVSW, but using a custom routine in our test program instead? What commands do we need to send to the GG to do calibration? If we need to send new cal constants how are they calculated?
All documents I found that describe the bq27541 calibration use the EVSW, but unfortunately this software and method slows down production too much.
Thank you
Marius,
See the TI SLUA415 document which describes the Data Flash Programming and Calibration of the bq27350 (which also applies to the bq27541).
