Doing more research on this part. I would like to request for the part's material declaration sheet.

And please answer the following questions:

1. Is the part compatible with water soluble and aqueous cleaning?

2.

  • What is the Flammability rating, is there a specific UL94 rating or related rating?
  • Could you provide any reports for fungal testing?
  • Could you provide any reports for UV testing?

    Please see my response to your queries below in blue.

    1. Is the part compatible with water soluble and aqueous cleaning? --> Yes, the device is compatible for such cleaning method.

    2. What is the Flammability rating, is there a specific UL94 rating or related rating? --> Unless stated otherwise on the datasheet, all encapsulating materials used in TI semiconductor products meet the requirements of UL 94 flame classification V-0.

    3. Could you provide any reports for fungal testing? --> Fungal testing is not covered in the IC qualification testing. However, there are 3rd parties who could performed such plastic encapsulated IC testing.

    4. Could you provide any reports for UV testing? --> Will get back to you on this item on Monday

    1. Is the part compatible with water soluble and aqueous cleaning? --> Yes, the device is compatible for such cleaning method.

    3. Could you provide any reports for fungal testing? --> Fungal testing is not covered in the IC qualification testing. However, there are 3rd parties who could performed such plastic encapsulated IC testing.

    4. Could you provide any reports for UV testing? --> TPS54618C-Q1 uses Polyfuse trimming and UV cannot heal these fuses. So, there is no potential concern for UV this device. Unfortunately, we don't have UV testing report as it is not part of device qualification plan.
