UCC28951: Full Bridge Rectifier (with Diodes or MOSFTEs) with UCC28951 for 450 Vout 5kW converter

Part Number: UCC28951
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28051, UCC28950

Tool/software:

Greetings,

For our client, we're designing a 5kW PSFB prototype with PFC input 450V and fixed output 450V, with operating load varying from (nearly) 0 to full load (11A).

  1. Considering the output voltage level, we will most likely use a full bridge diode rectifier. This option is not considered in the datasheet or Excel design file and is also quite rare on the internet.
Are there any equations that change? mainly for inductive components, i.e., Lshim, Lmag, and Lout.
  2. We're also considering an active full bridge rectifier with MOSFETs as an alternative to the diode bridge. Is it possible to implement it with UCC28951 using active control of the synchronous rectifier (SR)?
  3. Is it possible to have an LTspice model of this IC?

Best regards and thanks in advance,

Denys
