TPS7H5005-SEP: Simulation Error

Same error persist. We tried with the model without changes

Can you confirm the simulation profile is the same?

Your time at 6% corresponds to a different time than mine.
Also make sure that the maximum step size matches.

I have run the default schematic and found no issues at the time you reported.
This means its either a set-up issue or a computer issue.
It is likely a set-up issue.

Before and after update the same error was observed

In TPS7H5001-SP model, the output is obtained.

In TPS7H5005-SEP Model, the output shows error at 6% and cannot resume 

In TPS7H5001-SP model, changes made is not reflecting, always 5V is being generated at output

For the TPS7H5001-SP issue are you redesigning the converter when running the schematic?
If so can you provide the numbers you are using?

The TPS7H5001-SP is the same electrically as the TPS7H5005-SEP so lets continue to use the TPS7H5001-SP model

Hi Daniel,

In the push-pull calculator provided, the feedback resistor equation used and the equation suggested are different. The equation used to calculate Rbottom is using target crossover frequency rather than the Rtop value. If Rtop is used for calculation, then the required output is not achieved. Why is this error happening? Please refer the attached image for your information. 

similarly, the obtained inductance value if we are giving, the red marking is shown. Kindly clarify it please. The input conditions are as follows;

Even if we use the same equation for the feedback resistors, the output is not generated as required. 

The red box is still showing even if we take a below value as per the specified input conditions.

In the pspice simulation, even though the values are varied the output is the same 5V as per initial design provided in the Ti site. i tried with TPS7H5001 also

There is a issue in the value taken in case of target cross over frequency, that is 1/10 or 1/5 th of the 500KHz which is the switching frequency mentioned in the calculator. But 1/10th of it is 100KHz. But the mentioned value is 10KHz and this value is taken in the calculation of Rbottom. 

Can this IC be used in CC Mode also?
