We're thinking of using a BQ24650 to charge two 12V lead acid batteries in series. Also a BQ34Z110 IC to monitor the battery status. I was a little confused about how to connect the two ICs. Do you have a diagram of the two ICs connected to the battery? Thanks in advance for your reply.

    Hi,

    Sorry we do not have a reference design, but after speaking with the charger team, you should be able to connect two wires coming off of the positive terminal of the battery one goes to positive Vbat on Bq24650 and one goes to Bat+ on Gauge. Then connect the battery gnd terminal to Bat- on gauge.  Then connect pack- on gauge to Vbat gnd of the BQ24650
