TPS65216: On powerup how to change the Default output (i.e 1.1V ) to 1.2v without using an I2C.

DCDC1 and DCDC2 generate a default output of 1.1V and  both can be adjusted via I2C (According to the Datasheet).

Can we connect an external feedback circuit to the FB2 pin of DCDC2 to produce 1.2V instead of using I2C for the adjustment?

    I added an answer to this on a previous thread: TPS65216: Unable to get the desired/No outputs from the DCDC1-4 of PMIC.

    You can use a FB resistor divider to raise the output voltage to 1.2V. I recommend at least 1% tolerance resistors for better output accuracy.

    I also tried to connect the PMIC to IP-GUI software tool using USB2ANY adaptor interface. 

    Successfully able to change the DCDC1 and DCDC2 output to 1V and 1.2V

    while measuring the output, we founded that the voltage we set on DCDC1 was 1V but it got scaled up to 1.124V and on DCDC2 we got the accurate 1.2V. even after adjusting the output multiple times we encountered the same issue on DCDC1. so can you please explain how can we keep the output constant ?

    FYI according to datasheet DCDC1 and DCDC2 have +- 4% of tolerance but voltage was scaled-up more than 10%.

    If you set DCDC1 to any other voltages do you see the same level of inaccuracy? Is DCDC1 always 10% overvoltage regardless of the output setting?

    How many chips are showing DCDC1 inaccuracy?

    Yes, after setting different voltages level on DCDC1 observed the same level of inaccuracy.

    Only DCDC1 output is showing the voltage scaling, rest all the other outputs are accurate or have output within tolerance.

    How many boards are showing the inaccuracy?

    Can you swap the IC on the board you're testing to see if the inaccuracy follows the board or the IC?
