EV2400: EV2400 Cannot Communicate With My PC

Part Number: EV2400
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO,

Tool/software:

Hi,

Like others have stated, I'm having trouble getting my EV2400 to communicate with my PC. I've downloaded several bqStudio versions, but none have worked for me. Each time I try and open the application to connect to my charge IC and gas guage, the application doesn't detect my EV2400.

I've verified that the EV2400 is "online" when I plug it into my PC. The Device Manager list updates with a new "HID-compliant vendor-verified device" and three green LEDs on its front face turn on when I plug it into my PC.

However, every time I open bqStudio, it cannot detect the EV2400. So I checked out some forums and I found this command to force the updater to run: EV2400_Updater_v0032 -s which I ran in CMD, and was able to see this output:

Skipping putting EV2400 in FWUpdater mode

Performing Mass Erase...

ValueError: USB VID:PID 2047:0200 not found (not in BSL mode? or try --device)

And I've seen this error/issue occur on both my personal desktop and work laptop, both running Windows 11. Why is this occurring? How can I get my EV2400 working??
