BQ76942: Question about what conditions are required for BQ76942 to enter shutdown mode

Part Number: BQ76942

Tool/software:

HI Ti Experts,

When I tested the bq76942 to enter shutdown mode, I found the same conditions, but sometimes it failed to enter. My logic for entering shutdown mode is that the software sends a shutdown command and pulls up the RST_SHUT pin for 1s, waiting for the LD voltage to drop to VwakeonLD.
As shown in the attached figure, both figures meet the conditions of RST_SHUT being pulled high for 1s, and the LD voltage is less than VwakeonLD, which is consistent with the conditions for entering shutdown mode described in the specification. However, figure ① enters shutdown mode normally, and after RST_SHUT is pulled up for 1s in figure ②, its TS2 is not weakly pulled up to 5V, resulting in failure to enter shutdown mode. This is strange, because the MCU only pulls down TS2 for 300ms before initializing AFE, and will not operate TS2 again afterwards, so this is controlled by AFE itself.
So why did ② not enter shutdown mode? Are there other conditions for entering shutdown mode? Or what prevents TS2 from being pulled up to 5V? Can you explain this situation? Or if you have other suggestions, please let me know.
Thank you.
