UCC28180: Unencrypted lib file

Part Number: UCC28180
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC28065

Tool/software:

Hi Everyone,

I need Ucc28180 IC's Unencrypted lib file. If any one have kindly reply to me.

Hi, @Tony Hsu Did you got a ucc28180 Unencrypted lib file. Or how you solved gate signal error.

Are you getting GATE pulse signal in Runtime

Thanks Guys,

Regards

Suriya

  • We don't provide the unencrypted file in general. Instead, I suggest to compare your design with our reference first.

Kindly refer this page. In that page Generally they provided the unencrypted file. Then you also can make like that or can you send the file in personal chat.

Also i need UCC28065 spice model, is that possible to get this one?

I have UCC28180 lib file also that was encrypted. I made symbol for LTspice purpose and I'm including the lib file but while doing the simulation time i'm  getting "Too few nodes" error.

    Here I'm attached the circuit

Tell me, how to resolve this error in LTspice.

    Best,

    Suriya.

  • Hello Suriya,

TI does not support LTspice models or modelling issues.

Here is the UCC28180 system model .lib file:

It can be viewed in Notepad.
Simply remove the ".txt" suffix and it is the original .lib file.

If you can analyze this model, you will see that the GATE output is a signal from 0 to 1V (approximately) which represents the duty cycle to be applied to the BOOSTCCMDCM block.  It is not a PWM signal.

I explained how to derive a PWM signal from this GATE signal in my reply of July 16 to your previous E2E thread on this same topic:
    https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1387309/ucc28180-ucc28180_avg-cadence-simulation_-gate-signal-issues

    Please reread my suggestions carefully.

    Regards,
    Ulrich
