Tool/software:
There is new PMIC TPS6521909 on the TPS65219 family web page but there are no information about it.
We are planning to use one of these parts on a AM6254 design so that we would like to evaluate this new part as well.
Thanks,
Kris

Hi Kris,
TPS6521909 is recommended for processors/SoC where VDD_CORE requires more than 3.5A. Have you looked at the AM62x PMIC Apps note?

Hi Brenda,
I have and I also looked at the link to the "Powering the AM62x with the TPS65219 PMIC (Rev. B)" app note but still cannot find reference to the TPS6521909. Maybe I am missing something.
Can you point me to the page that references TPS6521909?
Thanks,
Kris
Hi Kris,
TPS6521909 is not part of the AM62x PMIC Apps note because it is recommended for processors that require a higher current on VDD_CORE, like AM62A.
I'll still check with our technical writer on the expected release date for the TPS6521909 technical reference manual.
Thanks,
Brenda
Hi Kris,
The official TPS6521909 is scheduled to be released this week. In the meantime, I have attached the power delivery network. Let us know if there are any questions.
Thanks,
Brenda
