I would like to double check protection behavior with you.

If I tie RES pin to ground to disable hiccup mode, does device will enter latch mode protection?

    Hi Ben,

    Thanks for using the e2e forum.
    If hiccup mode is not required, you can tie the RES pin to GND just as described in the datasheet, this is correct.
    This will only disable the hiccup mode.
    The regular overcurrent protection will still be active and will limit the duty cycle in an overcurrent scenario.
