Tool/software:
I'm designing a battery controller for a client and I'm struggling to understand the differences between some of these charge controllers. The system uses a 4-series LiPo battery, charges from a 15V or 18V AC-DC converter, and requires I2C control of the charger, so I was looking at the sub-$2.00 buck-boost controllers, which look to be the BQ25713, BQ25713B, BQ25703A, BQ25723, and BQ25730. Other than that last one supporting up to 5 cells in series, I cannot figure out what the meaningful differences between any of those products are. Can someone help me understand what I should be looking at to compare them? Thanks!
Hello Jeffrey,
Here is a comparison table:BQcharger comparison.pptx
BQ25713/BQ25713-These are the same, They just have different I2C address.
Best Regards,
Christian.
