LMR54406: WEBENCH Power Designer: unwanted component values

Hi team,

I cannot change individual component values when using Webench Power Designer.

For example, if Rfbt and Rfbb is changed from the original value, both resistor values reset to the original value when Cout is changed.

Is this because the program is constantly trying to meet the optimization?

Is there any way to test a circuit with components values other than the optimized version on Webench?

Hi Yu,

Yes I believe this is the case. I have used the "create a custom part" function before and that has worked for me. If not, you can try using the PSPICE model with PSPICE for TI and you can simulate your application bypassing webench altogether. The transient model is available on the product page.
