BQ79616: BQ79600 REVERSE ADDRESSING QUESTION

Part Number: BQ79616

Tool/software:

Hi teams: Regarding the reverse addressing function of BQ79600, I would like to ask the following questions

Currently,1 BQ79600 + 4 BQ79616 are used to complete the cell voltage acquisition function.

The current wiring method is DIR_SEL=0. If I want to change to DIR_SEL=1 addressing mode, how should the software change the configuration?

(1) If the daisy chain is not connected in a ring, and I simply want to connect from the COML of BQ79600 to the COMH of BQ7961, can reverse addressing be achieved?

Or is it that the premise of reverse addressing is that the hardware wiring must be connected in a ring?

(2) The software configuration is shown in the following screenshot. Sampling failed successfully.

(3) At present, my sampling configuration is DIR_SEL=0. Refer to the following screenshot 7-22(a), and normal sampling can be achieved. When I disable the automatic addressing function and add the reverse addressing configuration process, refer to 7-22(b), sampling cannot be successful.

(4) Is there any example I can refer to?

Looking forward to your reply, thank you
