Tool/software:
Dear Sir,
We are unable to check current sense current using KEYSIGHT InfiniVision MSOX3024T oscilloscope with High Voltage probe, Can you advise how to do that for UCC28951?.
Hello,
Measuring the current sense signal should not be that difficult. If you followed application note slua60d, you could use a regular scope probe to sense the CS pin of the UCC28951.
The maximum current sense signal will be 2 V or less do to cycle by cycle current limiting. You might want to check your current sense transformer and CS resistor to make sure they are setup correctly.
The following link will get to the application note (slua560d) that goes through the step by step design process of a phase shifted full bridge using the UCC28951-Q1. You can use it to check the setup of your current sense transformer and CS resistor. You may find this useful in reviewing your design. There is even a 600 W reference design schematic that you can use compared to yours.
