Hi,
The device is at STANDBY because VANA dropped below VANAUVLO threshold and went back. How can the device come to ACTIVE?
Thers is no alive processor because it's powered by the device and all converters are disabled.

Hi Zehui,
could you please let me know the full OPN (orderable part number) for this device? Then I could take a look how your device is configured.

Niko
Hi Zehui,
thank you for the information. Per Table 7-5 in the data sheet you need to write 1 to RESET_REG_INT registers to clear the interrupt and allow restart.

Niko
Hi Niko,
There is a problem that is the processor is powered by the device. When the device output is disable there is no one can control the i2c bus.
Hi Zehui,
please try masking this interrupt with RESE_REG_MASK bit.

Niko
Hi Zehui,
how is the enable signal given to PMIC and does it toggle when this sequence happens?
regards,
Niko
Hi Niko,
In my board enable pin is pulled up to VANA. It will drop as VANA. But considering the input high level threshold,I think it's always high.
Hi Zehui,
please try to toggle the NRSTOUT and then toggle the enable signal.
regards,
Niko
Hi Niko,
t's a good idea! However in my board enable pin is connected to VANA. It will be really complicated to design a toggle generator circuit. I don't really want to add a extra MCU for power monitor either.
Let's think outside the box. Can we avoid the device into the situation? Is there a way to disable the function?
Hi Zehui,
would there be a way to just test this using external voltage to see if it would work? The undervoltage lockout can't be disabled.
regards,
Niko
